Fantastic. Best view of the fabulous old city available

Fantastic views of the old city (and sliema) from 17th floor penthouse. Very large room and bathroom. Well designed and fitted out with everything, fridge, hairdryer etc. Proper shower and a separate bath - excellent. Will stay again

There are building works next door but we were there on a weekend and from 17th floor facing the old city/ocean no noise at all - very quiet

Only 1 staff on duty at reception. Only 1 working lift. The place, at first look - looks deserted, old furniture. Musty carpet smells.

Good location but spoiled by poor standard of room, totally different to on-line photos.

Great views and very convenient for visiting Valletta

Carpet in corridor was badly stained Standard room was very basic with hostel-style beds , no chairs at all, no toiletries (not even plastic cups, no coffee-tea making. After 2 nights we were upgrade free of charge to a suite that was dramatically better.

„Die angenehme Überraschung - mehr als die Beschreibung verspricht!

Wir hatten ein Zimmer im 15. Stock mit Panoramablick auf das Weltkulturerbe Valletta von gleich 2 Balkons und von der Dusche aus (vom Wohnzimmer sowieso). Der Whirlpool auf dem Balkon war leider leer und außer Betrieb, stand aber auch nicht in der Beschreibung des Zimmers. Ebensowenig in der Beschreibung stand das kleine Dampfbad im Badezimmer, das prima funktionierte. (Gleiches gilt für den Kühlschrank.) Kleinigkeiten wie eine nicht funktionierende Nachttischlampe wurden unverzüglich repariert. Insgesamt eine geräumige Unterkunft mit sehr viel Komfort. Fast schade, dass das Wetter während unseres Aufenthaltes so gut war - hier mag man auch gerne mal einen Tag verbringen.

Das Vibrationsplatte-Sportgerät, bei dem der Stromstecker fehlte (abgeschnitten...), hätte aus dem Zimmer entfernt werden können, zumal auch dieses nicht in der Beschreibung stand (insofern war die fehlende Funktion kein Mangel).

„Desaster und sollte schnellst möglich nicht mehr angeboten werden!

Die Unterkunft war keine Suites sondern ein Hostel für benachtbarte Sprachschulen. Leider hatten wir die Schwammflecken nicht gleich gesehen, da die Betten davorgeschoben wurden. Die Zimmer waren sehr spärlich eingerichtet. Das Hotel das vorher dort betrieben wurde, wurde geschlossen wegen der Mängel und wird jetzt als Hostel betrieben. Der Preis ist vollkommen unangemessen. Das Empfangspersonal junge Studentinnen sind nicht auskunftsberechtigt. Das Facilitymanagement verweist auf das Empfangspersonal. Einen adäquaten Ansprechpartner gibt es nicht. Das ursprüngliche Hotel hatte den Namen Fortina Spa Resort, eingeweiht von dem Prime Minister Gonzi am30.4.2006. Das Hostel heisst jetzt "The SeafrontTower Suites" aber ohne Suites! Dieses Anwesen sollte von Booking.com nicht mehr angeboten werden. Schon wegen den gesundheitlichen Folgen.

Unser Zimmer war im 15. Stock mit großem Balkon u 2 Liegen, ruhig u hat einen wunderschönen Ausblick. Das Bad ist groß mit moderner Badewanne, extra Dusche u separate Toilette.

„Schöne Aussicht ist nicht alles !

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und wir hatten im 11.Stockwerk eine schöne Aussicht. Eine Liege und 2 Stühle waren auf dem Balkon vorhanden. Das Apartment ist sehr groß und bietet Platz für bis zu 6 Personen.

1. Direkt neben dem Hotel eine Baustelle. Lärm ab 7 Uhr morgens. 2. Plötzlicher Alarm eines Rauchmelders. Rezeption blieb gelassen. Das sei wegen der Baustelle. Man würde den Fehler beheben. Wie echter oder fascher Alarm unterschieden werden soll, bleibt ein Rätsel. 3. Am nächsten Tag fiel am Morgen der Strom aus. Zu Fuss aus dem 11. Stockwerk Richtung Rezeption. Plötzlich funktioniert auch die Notbeleuchtung nicht mehr. Ohne Mobiltelefon (Taschenlampenfunktion) wäre ein Weitergehen nicht möglich. 4. Rezepton - wieder ist es die Baustelle, die den Fehler beheben muss.

„Sehr gute Lage, toller Blick, große Zimmer

Buchung ohne Frühstück, Zimmer sehr groß, toller Blick vom Balkon im 12 Stock, auch wenn man nicht direkt auf Valletta blicken kann, aber auf die Bucht von Sliemma (Fähre nach Valletta 10 min. zu Fuß entfernt). Badezimmer sehr groß, Dusche und Badewanne, 2 Waschbecken. Bett groß und qualitativ sehr gut, nicht zu weich. Pool über die Straße, von uns nicht genutzt. Direkt hinter/unter dem Hotel befindet sich ein Einkaufszentrum mit vielen Geschäften und einem großen Supermarkt, sehr praktisch. In der Umgebung mehrere Lokale und Restaurants, Busse fahren direkt am Hotel vorbei, die nächste Station 3-5 min. zu Fuß.

Es ist ok, aber die Führung erinnert mehr an ein Hostel als an ein Hotel mit Getränkeautomaten im Foyer. Dazu funktionierten der Safe, TV Gerät und Klimaanlage nicht nach Wunsch. Erst auf Nachfrage wurde am 2 Tag jemand geschickt, der sich auch nicht gut auskannte.......egal, wir sind auch ohne zurecht gekommen, da sonst alles soweit gepasst hat.

„Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon im 8.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon im 8.Stock und der Blick auf Valetta direkt gegenüber ist wunderschön! Auch muß man nur einmal kurz über die Straße gehen, um zu den Schwimmfelsen zu gelangen und schon kann man dort vor der Stadtsilhouette in tiefblaues Wasser springen.

Im Zimmer standen 1 Schrank und 3 Betten im IKEA-Stil (die allerdings wohl als Stockbetten gedacht waren) mit 1 Nachtischchen und Schreibtisch mit Hocker. Sonst gab es nichts! Keine Nachttischlampe, sondern nur eine zentrale Lampe, die sich auch nicht etwa vom Bett hätte ausschalten lassen - nein, zum Lichtschalter mußte man extra hinlaufen. Toll marmoriertes Badezimmer ohne einen einzigen Trinkbecher, so daß man noch nicht mal die Aussicht auf Valetta mit einem Wein zelebrieren konnte. Das Laminat war nicht überall bis in die Ecken hinein verlegt, sondern nur soweit, das die Lücken nicht auffielen. Das Tollste aber war der wunderschöne, großzügige Balkon: da gab es keine einzige Sitzgelegenheit - hier konnte man nur stehen. So etwas habe ich zu dem Preis bei einer solch promineten Lage noch nie zuvor erlebt: ich hätte aber auch nur ein "Standardzimmer" gebucht, erfuhr ich an der Rezeption

„Einfach nur enttäuscht

Die Aussicht war top. Aber auch leider das einzigst gute.

Die Zimmer waren leider einfach total runtergekommen. In der Badewanne Schimmel, das Zimmer war nicht sauber, an der Kaffeemaschine war noch das alte kafeepad dran. Die Betten absolut uncomfortable und zudem zwei verschiedene Matratzen. Der Föhn total alt und funktioniert nur wenn er möchte. Das wifi hat nicht funktioniert. Nachdem wir uns beschwert haben, haben wir ein Upgrade bekommen, eigentlich alles nochmal dasselbe außer das, dass Zimmer doppelt do groß war, wie das davor und das Badezimmer riesig, mit super Aussicht aber leider auch das einzige gute an der Unterkunft. Die Rezeption ist auch sehr außergewöhnlich, aber Personal an der Rezeption sehr nett! Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmen absolut nicht überein. Wem die Sauberkeit nicht so wichtig ist, sondern nur die Aussicht genießen möchte, ist in diesem Hotel gut aufgehoben.

La cama cómoda, las vistas bonitas.

El mantenimiento de habitación muy mal. Las toallas y el papel higiénico no lo reponen, La habitación de los amigos tenía jacuzzi y bañera de masaje y ninguna de ellas le funcionaba, además llegaron a reponerle toallas usadas.

Caro y lamentable

Limpieza e instalaciones lamentables. Precio excesivo para un establecimiento bien ubicado pero dejado y abandonado a su suerte. Habitaciones amplias pero con mobiliario breve, más parecido a dormir en un piso de mudanzas más que en un hotel. En general, colchones y ropa de cama con calidad de albergue. Si buscas un buen hotel, mejor busca otra opción.

A ver por donde empiezo: - No es un hotel porque bajo mi punto de vista la palabra hotel implica limpieza de habitaciones y en este establecimiento....brilla por su ausencia. Estuvimos alojados 5 días y solamente uno nos "estiraron las sábanas " literalmente, otro de los días no se exactamente que pasó pero llegamos a la habitación y la puerta estaba abierta con una toalla cubriendo la televisión y otra cubriendo mi maleta, 2 toallas que no eran las propias de nuestra habitación, misterio. También resaltar que nos encontramos una cucaracha en el baño.( El tema de la limpieza es igual en las habitaciones "de lujo" tipo suite que en las más sencillas. No reponen ni hacen camas ni en unas ni en otras, por ejemplo) - Es un antiguo hotel de 5 estrellas reconvertido en albergue caro y descuidado. Los armarios son una especie de taquillas endebles con cerradura para un candado y las camas literas desmontadas en las q no se han molestado ni en borrar las típicas letras de lápiz para saber como montarlas. - Hay habitaciones en obras, con el suelo levantado, abiertas, a las que cualquier persona puede acceder sin seguridad alguna. - En "recepción" (por llamarlo de alguna manera) se forman colas kilométricas, puesto q el servicio de recepción se reduce a una mesa en una esquina muy similar a los mostradores utilizados para venderte excursiones en otros hoteles. Comentar que el hall de entrada es enorme, con 3 mesas para atender a los clientes que siempre se encuentran vacías y una puerta giratoria que al igual que el resto....se quedan en los vestigios del hotel de categoría que fué antaño ya que nunca funcionó (el segundo ascensor también siempre averiado). - Ambiente rarito, gente tirada en los sofás de recepción para utilizar el wifi ( en las habitaciones no hay, al menos en la nuestra) o sentados en la moqueta de los pasillos.
